I will be in debt worth about $150,000 after graduation. I am an international student in the US and my home is in India. My cosigners are all american citizens and are rich multi-millionaires. I wish to pay back my loans, however, if I leave back for India and never pay my student loans, what can Citibank possibly do about it?

Track you down and get the local Indian authorities to arrest you! You know there are Citibanks in India too you know! Pay it back when you can cause that’s called stealing

If you don’t pay back the loans, your lender will go after the co-signers. The question would be what would they do?
