your auto insurance company supplies the declaration page when you obtain insurance from the company as it explains exactly what coverage and the amount of coverage you carry

What insurance company is asking for an auto insurance declaration page? You auto company can give you a dec page (common industry term) for a specific sate or series of dates. I’m just curious as to who wants one and why. Normally you get these to prove you have/had coverage for a certain event.

YOUR insurance company gives you a piece of paper, that has your name on it, and shows what coverages you bought, for what car, and how much it costs. THAT is a declaration page.

If you’ve never HAD auto insurance, then you’ve never HAD a declaration page.

If this is YOUR insurance company, then they should be able to print off a declaration page of your policy – it makes no sense that they are asking for their own piece of paper back.
