Specifically when I wasn’t the one at fault and I am processing the claim through the other person’s insurance. What is the time frame? thanks

Heres a little trick you can use. It has worked for me twice. Tell the other guys insurance company that you use the car for business, and until you get it fixed, you will be claiming “down time” The insurance company WILL NOT be too happy about having to pay you for down time and will get things taken care of very quickly!
