Experian
Equifax
Trans Union

Have you no idea how much you owed when the garnishment of your tax return occured? and how much your tax return was to be?

If you have not moved from the address where they knew you to be then, you would have heard from them.

Otherwise as someone suggested, get a copy of your credit report.

US Department Of Education has an online database for loans ect.
The first thing you need to do is set up an account and get a pin # to access your records. This I think may take a day or 2 to get your pin. Got to first link.
After you get your pin go to the second link and you will be able to look up your account information. There you will be able to find the status of your loan and contact info on who to get a hold of to straighten everything out.
