How can you guys be against health care reform?
The health insurance companies are evil. You guys are just health insurance company tools.
We’ve got to let those health insurance companies know who is boss by forcing everyone to buy their products!

Are income tax returns still being paid to Corporations that show profits of income…, a little bill that was passed in 2003 that I thought would bankrupt you…, so much to do down there.

i cannot afford health insurance. however, unlike the people that politicians try to appeal to and sell their ideas to – i do not believe that it is because of capitalism, and i believe it is because of a LACK of free market capitalism and that health insurance is expensive BECAUSE OF THE GOVT – M. Cannon is right, and you all need to WAKE UP and realize that the govt makes it more expensive for the consumer.

It’s a tax increase for millions of people who were promised that they wouldn’t see their taxes raised under Obama. The insurance mandate is the “read my lips, no new taxes” mistake. Healthcare will be Obama’s Waterloo. He is a lame duck and a one-term failure. Who’s next?

I dunno. I think all you’d have to do is jump off a tall building. Stand in front of an oncoming train. Take a bunch of pills. Hang yourself.
Divesting oneself of a body would be a piece of cake.
Uhhh…That being said, I’m not sure most people would be willing to do that, just to avoid health insurance costs.

Mandated coverage didn’t work in MA. Their rates went up higher than the national average. Auto insurance is a very poor analogy. That is to protect other people. The only reason that health insurance would protect other people is because the industry is so socialized. The gov’t socializes an industry, its cost rise at a disgusting rate, and then they force you to be a part of their scheme. You shouldn’t expect someone who created a problem to fix it. This is a tax increase, no question about it

Obama is bring back the draft. Its the health draft! Uncle Sam needs you, to do exactly as you are told. Shut up, sit down, and buy your health insurance with coverage for both testicular cancer and pregnancy. Why do you pay for both? In case you use your insurance for the sex change it covers.
All taxes are mandates, all mandates are taxes. In this case the government makes you give the money to someone else. They just cut out the middle man.

I am actually slightly for this compared with the other alternatives. If it includes dropping medicare and medicaid in its entirety it is probably a better and more freedom-friendly alternative…. correct me if I’m wrong, please

Democracy is Mob rule. However, our founding fathers new this and gave us a Republic (if we can keep it). It’s a shame we have voted (over 80 yrs) for people who have no respect for the Constitution
