@RawJewel

the GOVERNMENT is the greedy party. The insurance industry is the innocent party being persecuted by the evil government.

No, it’s better when, for the pass 8 yrs, we gave it to no-bid contractors! “Bush spent like a drunken Sailor” and very little was designated for the people of this country! Where was the watch for theft then! So, it’s best to be controlled by greedy the healthcare industry. Young college grads and would-be entrepreneurs give up dreams to work for big business because they need the healthcare hook!

this video is hillarious. the subliminals he puts in are sweet. he shows (unwise)young carefree ppl who brag about choosing to not buy insurance. as if there arent ppl who work hard but still cant afford good treatment (that wont be taken away or watered down when they make a claim). and how he puts pics of the homeless and derelicts: sweet!!!! i.e. the bums are just like ppl who dont have insurance, a burden on society. and talk about skewing statistics, marvelous i say, simply marvelous.

no one needs health insurance at all, especially not the excessive comprehensive plans created by government favoritism. saving for care or insuring against future care expenses are the responsibility of individuals and familie, NOT the government, NOT through coercive taxation and redistribution.

PS kids, his logic is bullshit. ONLY 6 million! look closely he steemrolls over the fact that many are already covered by the govt. That’s a slippery argument. Oh we dont need this because so many are already covered by it. To make a legitimate argument, he would have to count those on govt ins as uninsured since in the “everything the govt does is stealing world” this would be verboten. No I dont agree with Canada and England but they’re excellent hybrid systems, try researching it!

“health insurance the dont need” no one needs insurance, till they need it. Easy to play the anarcho-capatilist role until you have cancer. I suppose if your heart had a freak malfunction and tomorrow you hit the ground you’d be cool with just dying since you couldnt authorize someone to provide you with healthcare. Why should I have to pay for a fire department I dont need? There is a will to be free (which I have) and a knee-jerk reaction to just be against all establishment.

the crisis in America is the greed of the government and its political cronies looking for ways to steal from American citizens to fund their corrupt vote-buying schemes. “Healthcare” is just the latest excuse for the government to STEAL from Americans and buy votes with other people’s money.

It is condescending to claim that anyone needs health insurance or to force them to spend their scarce money on health insurance they don’t need. The individual mandate is nothing short of tyranny — government stealing the liberty and property of American citizens.

This girl in the video is so stupid, so irresponsible, and missed the point. Not having health insurance when you’re young is so illogical.

The liberals in government want socialized health care because it empowers them, so they spread lies about the real numbers of needy. Lets fix things for the 6 million but leave the govt out of the lives of the hundreds of millions who are content with the system as it is. A solution is to better inform those who don’t know many generous free or affordable care is already available. I do not support turning illegals away from emergency but rather, foster a better democracy in Mexico.

The Foundation for Health Coverage Education aims to help educate the 47 million uninsured people in America(including the girl in this video). She obviously doesn’t know about the free options that are available to her through government-sponsored programs because of her supposedly low-income. There are solutions out there. check our FHCE’s website and see what we’re talking about!

there is nothing reasonable. only scholarly-sounding words based on singular points of view and not actual real world experience. I rest my case because I cannot argue with people that do not have the complete picture and have not lived the experience. goodbye. don’t bother responding, its going to spam filter. bored with this argument now.

No matter which side a person is on in terms of National heath care….can one honestly believe that it won’t be a beaurocratic nightmare in this country? There’s a disconnect growing here where appearences mean more than substance. Doesn’t anybody get suspiscious that OBama wants legislation passed “quickly”? Bush did the same in Iraq. Plus there’s no discussion on how to keep it corruption free. Not going to happen with all that money and control…but we can try.

Wow, this argument, two years old, is as fresh as today’s headlines. tot1041, I have to say, as a dispassionate and objective observer, you got completely schooled here by jonreed819. I don’t think I’ve ever read a more reasonable take on the issue (or seen a more lopsided debate) :)

sounds like you were dined because you already have access to insurance.. they do check spouses.
“through my mother’s job” sound like an employer co-pay. not state coverage unless she works for the state .. and even then it’s an employer co-pay

Since the insurance companies are backing Obama along with all the other big corporations, this does not make sense. Of course, if westgateG is right, then it means all those supporting ObamaCare are also wrong as they use info from leftwing groups…..

The National Center for Policy Analysis (NCPA) is an American non-profit conservative think tank partially financed by the insurance industry.
Can’t anyone come up with reasons for keeping our broken system BESIDES the insurance companies?
When they raise their fees, am I also paying for this kind of ad?
Come up with some real reasons please.

medic aid only covers poorest of the poor not the working poor. why is it wrong to force everybody to pay for a safety net, when they can’t afford private health care.(thats what the NHS actually is, not nazi mambo jambo)

it is wrong & unjust to force everyone to socialised health care because it won’t deliever the best possible health care.

but the is nothing wrong with a Safety net that provides good care, you’ll have to pay if you want the best possible care.
